Lowforge Jet

Lowforge Jet (aka Jet) is the matriarch to all of our dogs. She has had two litters. Both matings and litters were with FTCH Gosberry Governor. We kept Wortleylab Ben Romach (male) and Wortleylab Islay (female) from Jet’s first litter and Wortleylab Ruby Rhed (female) from Jet’s second and final litter.
Lowforge Jet is an extremely obedient and intelligent girl who aims to please me. She was the easiest dog to train that I have ever had. Jet has an excellent five generation pedigree. She was very well bred by Andrew and Jane Whelan of Lowforge Gundogs. Jet is an excellent bird finder and is easy to direct on to runners. She responds very well to the whistle and to hand signals. She has a lovely gentle temperament and is a loving and loyal family dog.
Wortleylab Ben Romach

(Retired Stud Dog)
Wortleylab Ben Romach (aka Mac) is the son of Lowforge Jet and FTCH Gosberry Governor (from Lowforge Jet’s first litter). Mac is a fearless, loyal and strong working dog. He is such an amazingly, awesome dog in every way, he is by far one of the best bird finders that I have ever seen. He is a superb dog on runners and has a natural ability to hunt. He can also be directed by the whistle and hand signals in order for him to find birds quickly. He is also an excellent guard dog, an amazing house dog and a very well-loved pet. He is very trustworthy and is so gentle and calm with our grandchildren.
Wortleylab Islay

Wortleylab Islay (aka Isla) is the daughter of Lowforge Jet and FTCH Gosberry Governor from their first litter. Isla is the litter sister of Wortleylab Ben Romach, they are such good friends. Isla is striking and intelligent girl. She is a very able and obedient working gundog. Isla is one of the best bird finders that I have ever had. She is an excellent dog on runners and has a natural ability to hunt. Isla can also be directed by the whistle and hand signals this ensures that she finds birds quickly. She is a very affectionate and loving pet and wonderful house dog. Isla is very calm, affectionate and gentle with our grandchildren. Isla has had three litters. Isla’s first and second litter were to Bickerdyke Scorpios. Her third litter was to Ettinsmoor Kangaroo Joe. We kept Wortleylab Rhed Albertine (aka Fern) from Isla’s second litter and Wortleylab Indiana Rhed from Isla’s third litter. Isla is now retired from breeding and is spayed. She enjoys her role as an important member of my picking up team. During the shooting season Isla is in her element. She is a hard worker and enjoys picking up on local shoots.

Wortleylab Ruby Rhed (aka Ruby) is the daughter of Lowforge Jet and FTCH Gosberry Governor from their second litter. She is the younger sister of Wortleylab Ben Romach and Wortleylab Islay. She is the auntie of Wortleylab Rhed Albertine and Wortleylab Indiana Rhed. Ruby has had two litters with Ettinsmoor Kangaroo Joe. We have kept Wortleylab Rhed Kestrel (aka The Duke of Wortley) from Ruby and Joe’s second litter. Wortleylab Ruby Rhed is fearless, she has a massive drive and is a relentless worker. She is tireless in the field and is persistent in finding birds. She has also got a lovely, loving nature. She definitely has two personalities. High drive in the field and is a very gentle and loving pet in the home.

Wortleylab Rhed Albertine (aka Fern) is the daughter of Wortleylab Islay and Bickerdyke Scorpios from their second litter. She is the granddaughter of Lowforge Jet and FTCH Gosberry Governor. Indie is the younger sister of Fern. Wortleylab Ben Romach is Fern’s uncle and Wortleylab Ruby Rhed is Fern’s Auntie. Wortleylab Rhed Kestrel is her cousin. Fern is a very handsome fox red girl with striking features. She is the most affectionate and loving dog that I have ever had. She absolutely adores me. Fern has a lot of drive and has great stamina. She is also a relentless bird finder with a massive drive. Fern is extremely athletic and agile and loves working outdoors. She is a fabulous pet and is super with our grandchildren. Fern has had two litters with Ettinsmoor Kangaroo Joe.
Wortleylab Indiana Rhed

Wortleylab Indiana Rhed (aka Indie) is a future breeding bitch. She is the daughter of Wortleylab Islay and Ettinsmoor Kangaroo Joe. Indie is the granddaughter of Lowforge Jet and FTCH Gosberry Governor. Wortleylab Ben Romach is Indie’s uncle and Wortleylab Ruby Rhed is Indie’s Auntie. Indie is Duke’s cousin as all of our dogs are related. Indie has a beautiful nature, she is a very well-behaved, gentle and loving girl in the home and a very loyal and valued pet. She definitely has an on off switch. When Indie is working, she has an amazing drive, she is very obedient and is relentless in all she does she always aims to please me. Indie is easy to control on the whistle and responds well to hand signals. From an early age she has shown that she is fearless at leaping over fences and walls when in pursuit of runners.
Wortleylab Rhed Kestrel
DOB: 15/03/2024
Wortleylab Rhed Kestrel (aka The Duke of Wortley) is the youngest member of our dogs. Wortleylab Rhed Kestrel is the son of Wortleylab Ruby Rhed and Ettinsmoor Kangaroo Joe from their second litter. Duke is the grandson of Lowforge Jet and FTCH Gosberry Governor. Wortleylab Ben Romach is Duke’s uncle, Wortleylab Islay is his auntie and Wortleylab Rhed Albertine and Indiana Rhed are Duke’s cousins. Duke is a strong, powerful, confident and obedient dog it already looks as if he will follow in his father Ettinsmoor Kangaroo Joe’s big footsteps and prove to be an excellent working gundog when he matures. Duke is showing great potential and a willingness to learn. He mixes well with our other dogs, he is a super house dog and a very loving and loyal family pet.
Duke (Wortleylab Rhed Kestrel) passed his BVA Eye Screening on 07/12/2024. His eyes were clear of any breed related hereditary eye diseases. Duke is hereditarily clear of all of the seven DNA tests. Subject to his hip and elbow scores which will be undertaken in a couple of months’ time when he is over twelve months old, he will be our future stud dog.
